Mainstream v Indie

The benefits of being with a mainstream label and a mainstream artist means you have loads of money invested into your video's and will then be able to produce the most creative and interesting music video's also you are promoted to the audience through merchandise as mentioned in the presentation along with many more resulting more sales within merchandise, tours and music. However it means everything is planned for you by directors, stylists and managers therefore you have little room for yourself as an artist to be independent and creative.

Being in an Indie band signed to a little and independent label means that you can creative and do as you please without having stylists telling you how to dress and directors telling you how to certain things, therefore you can grow as an artist. However and have a little budget to make videos and also may not be as successful as mainstream.
